NAZARETH DEFEATS UTICA IN WOMEN'S SWIMMING
Men's team falls in close meet, 114-101
RESULTS

UTICA, N.Y. (Jan. 29, 2005) -- Freshman Jennifer Dahm was a double winner for Nazareth Saturday as the Golden Flyers defeated host Utica, 126-86, in women's swimming and diving.

Dahm captured the 200 freestyle (2:07.02) ad the 500 freestyle (5:43.05) as the Golden Flyers improved to 9-1 overall.

Sophomore Amy Mehltretter also won two events -- the 1,650 freestyle and the 200 butterfly. Other winners included freshmen Sarah DuFour in the 200 IM, Emily Lesher in the 200 backstroke, Elizabeth Walsh in the 50 freestyle, and junior Aubrey Kirchoff in the 100 freestyle.

In the men's meet, Nazareth dropped a close contest with Utica, 114-101, despite wins by sophomore Tim Baker in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Junior Chris Fello was a winner in the 200 IM and junior Dan Paganin captured the 200 butterfly. Nazareth also won the 400 freestyle relay with the foursome of Matt Muratore, Sean O'Malley, Karl Kolkmann, and Tom Mitchell. Nazareth is 2-7 overall.

Both teams close out their dual meet schedule Saturday at RIT at 1 p.m.
