NAZARETH WOMEN TOP HARTWICK TO MOVE TO 8-0
RESULTS

ONEONTA, N.Y. (Dec. 11, 2004) -- Visiting Nazareth won 10 of 13 events Saturday at Hartwick to remain unbeaten in women's swimming and diving, outscoring the Hawks, 132.5-90.5. Nazareth remained unbeaten in dual meets at 8-0. Hartwick defeated Nazareth in the men's meet, 160-59.

In the women's meet, freshman Emily Lesher broke the school record in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:14.61. She also won the 200 freestyle (2:01.08) and was a member of the 400 medley relay that also included Kate Kukan, Aubrey Kirchoff, and Elizabeth Walsh.

Sophomore Amy Mehltretter won two individual events -- the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle -- and was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team. Kirchoff, Walsh and Meghan Okoniewski (pictured) also participated.

Other winners were Okoniewski in the 50 freestyle, Kirchoff in the 200 IM, Kukan in the 200 breaststroke, and Jennifer Dahm in the 200-yard backstroke.

In the men's meet, Hartwick dominated by winning all 13 events. Freshman Karl Kolkmann placed second in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
