Communication Sciences and Disorders major. . . daughter of Ray and Bonnie Slocum, Johnson City, N.Y. . . returning for her third season, Slocum displayed solid improvement in 2003-04, lowering her times in the 200 backstroke as well as the 200 and 400 IM. . . scored 133.25 points and placed seventh in the 400 IM at the Empire 8 Conference meet. . . 2002-03: scored 100 points and finished 10th in the 200 IM at the Empire 8 Conference meet. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Johnson City High School, Slocum swam there for five seasons and helped her team to five straight Southern Tier Athletic Conference titles and a state title in 1998. . . named team’s Most Improved Swimmer in 2001. . . also played four seasons of high school lacrosse.
