Psychology major. . . daughter of Jim and Patricia Bowen, Newfield, N.Y. . . back for her third season with the Golden Flyers, Bowen transferred to Nazareth from George Mason University in the middle of the 2002-03 season. . . Bowen swam well in 2003-04, finishing second on the team in scoring with 248.75 points. . . turned in an eighth-place finish in the 1,650 freestyle at the Empire 8 Conference meet. . . recipient of team’s Golden Flyer Award. . . 2002-03: joined the Golden Flyers at mid-season and scored 146.50 points, including 50 at the E8 Conference meet. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Ithaca High School, Bowen was a four-year standout in swimming there. . . served as team captain for two years and was selected team MVP in 2001-02. . . won sectional title in 100 freestyle. . . also competed in lacrosse.
