NAZARETH ENDS SEMESTER WITH WIN AT HARTWICK
Golden Flyers improve to 6-0; men's team falls 130-74
MEET RESULTS

ONEONTA, N.Y. (Dec. 9, 2006) -- Graduate student Amy Mehltretter won two individual events as did juniors Emily Lesher and Meghan Okoniewski Saturday as Nazareth won its sixth straight dual meet in women's swimming and diving by defeating host Hartwick, 142-101. Hartwick defeated Nazareth in the men's meet, 130-74.

Okoniewski (pictured) won for Nazareth in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles and swam on the winning 400-yard medley relay team. Lesher was first in the 200-yard freestyle as well as the 200-yard butterfly, while Mehltretter won the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyles. Lesher and Mehltretter also were members of Nazareth's 400-yard free relay team that finished first in 3:48.42.

The Golden Flyers also got a first-place finish from Kate Kukan in the 200-yard breaststroke.

In the men's meet, Nazareth dropped to 1-5, but got wins from senior Tim Baker in the 500-yard freestyle and from Mike Fritz in the 200-yard breaststroke.
