Biology major. . . son of Mel and Louise Tardie, Ellsworth, Maine. . . returning for his second season at Nazareth, Tardie accumulated 76.5 team points for Nazareth in 2005-06 and placed 16th in the 100 backstroke at Empire 8 Conference championships… Scholastic: a graduate of Ellsworth High School in Maine, Tardie was a standout in soccer and swimming. . . played four seasons of varsity soccer and served as team captain in 2004. . . helped team to Eastern Maine Class B championship in ’04 while earning Class B all-star honors as well as first-team all-star honors in the Penobscot Valley Conference. . . also was captain of the swim team in ’04-05 and earned all-conference honors. . . has played for the Golden Flyers' soccer team the past two seasons.
