Marsh
Diving Coach
No stranger to Nazareth College, Dave Marsh has been the Golden
Flyers’ diving coach since 2001.
Marsh was a standout diver for the Golden Flyers from 1994-1996
and qualified for the NCAA Division III championships in Oxford,
Ohio in 1996. He also was selected team MVP in ‘96 and still
holds scoring records for 1-meter diving (274.20 for six dives and
425.65 for 11 dives).
As a coach, Marsh has enjoyed similar success. As a club coach,
he has helped train several athletes who have attended the Senior
and Junior National competitions. Also, he has coached many of the
local high school teams in Rochester and has helped seven divers
make it to the finals of the New York state high school championships
and numerous divers make the Section Five championship finals.
Jack
Hauber
Assistant Coach
Back for his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Nazareth
swimming and diving program, Jack Hauber is no stranger to the Golden
Flyers.
A 1996 Nazareth graduate, Hauber was the school recordholder in
the 100 backstroke, a mark that has since been broken. He also was
a four-time conference finalist in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly
and currently ranks 13th all-time in points scored with 678.
Hauber also owns the third fastest time in both the 100 and 200
backstrokes and ranks among the top 10 all-time in the 100 fly and
200 IM.
Hauber’s coaching experience includes fives years as head
coach for the QUIK swim club and fives seasons as an assistant coach
at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. |
