TEAMS PARTICIPATING IN RELAY FOR LIFE
Teams have raised more than $1,400 for American
Cancer Society
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 30, 2005) – Nazareth
College's men's and women's swimming and diving
teams will be participating this weekend in the
American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life"
at St. John Fisher.
Nazareth's team has raised more than $1,500 in
pledges for the American Cancer Society and team
members will be walking on Fisher's indoor track
Friday at 6 p.m. until Saturday at 6 a.m. to raise
awareness.
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's
signature activity and is designed to celebrate
survivorship and to raise money for cancer research.
Team members gather at the site and take turns
walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep
at least one team member on the track at all times.
