LEMOYNE IN MEN'S SWIMMING

SYRACUSE,
N.Y. (Jan. 17, 2004) -- Nazareth's men's swimming
and diving team opened its second-semester schedule
Saturday with a 149-69 dual-meet loss at LeMoyne.
Among the top individual performances were those
turned in by sophomore Tom Mitchell (pictured),
who placed second in the 500 freestyle (5:36.74),
fourth in the 200 fly (2:33.94), and fourth in
the 200 freestyle (2:02.94).
Others who swam well included: Tim Baker, second
in the 50 freestyle (:24.55); Mike Bond, second
in both 1-meter (129.65) and 3-meter (176.60)
diving; Chris Fello, third in the 200 IM (2:19.38);
Paul Osetek, second in the 200 brteaststroke (2:33.33)
and third in the 1,000 freestyle; and Dan Paganin,
second in the 200 butterfly (2:22.31).
Nazareth's next meet is Jan. 30 at Penn State
Behrend.
