NAZARETH DEFEATS BROCKPORT FOR FIRST WOMEN'S SWIMMING WIN
Women's team wins 143-96; men's team falls 126-81

BROCKPORT, N.Y. (Nov. 7, 2003) -- Freshman Meghan Rosinski (pictured) and sophomore Lindsay Slocum finished first and second respectively in the 200-yard IM Friday to lift Nazareth to its first victory of the season in women's swimming and diving. The Golden Flyers defeated Brockport, 143-96.

Rosinski had a time of 2:26.38, followed by Slocum in 2:27.29. Nazareth also had a first-place finish from Amanda Smith in the 500-yard freestyle.

In the men's meet, Nazareth fell to 0-4 with a 128-81 loss to Brockport. Sophomore Matt Muratore won two races for the Golden Flyers, winning the 500-yard freestyle in 5:26.97 and the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:14.49.

Nazareth hosts Hartwick SAturday at 1 p.m.
