JUSTIN STEVENS NAMED
EMPIRE 8 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
 ROCHESTER,
N.Y. (Sept. 11, 2006) -- Justin Stevens, a sophomore
forward on the Nazareth College men's soccer team,
has been named Empire 8 Conference Player of the
Week for the seven-day period that ended Sept.
10, 2006.
A native of Derby, N.Y. and a graduate of Canisius
High School, Stevens helped the Golden Flyers
improve to 4-0 last week with a pair of non-conference
victories. He contributed one goal and one assist
in a 2-0 home field victory over Buffalo State
last Wednesday. He added an assist in a 2-0 win
at Oswego last Saturday.
Nazareth, now 4-0, plays two home games this
week -- Tuesday against Hamilton at 4 p.m. and
Saturday against Ithaca in its Empire 8 Conference
opener at 3:30 p.m.
