| MORGIA NAMED E8 PLAYER
OF THE WEEK
 ROCHESTER,
N.Y. (March 20, 2007) – Tia Morgia, a senior
on the Nazareth College women’s lacrosse
team, has been named Empire 8 Conference Player
of the Week for the period that ended March 19.
A native of Watertown, N.Y and a graduate of
Watertown High School, Morgia tallied 10 points
on eight goals and two assists in the Golden Flyers'
first two games -- both victories -- to open the
season. led Nazareth to two wins to open the season,
scoring eight goals and adding two assists.
She scored five times in an 11-9 victory over
NCAA Division II St. Andrews on March 11 and followed
with three scores and two assists in a 12-7 win
over St. Lawrence on March 16.
Nazareth returns to action Thursday for a non-conference
game at 16th-ranked Hamilton at 4 p.m.
