| GOTHAM, SPOONHOWER NAMED
WOMEN'S LACROSSE ASSISTANTS
 ROCHESTER,
N.Y. (Aug. 9, 2006) – Former Nazareth lacrosse
standout Lindsay Gotham (far right) and Cornell
graduate Rachel Spoonhower have been named as
assistant coaches for the Golden Flyers' women's
lacrosse team in 2007.
Gotham, of Seneca Falls, N.Y.
and a graduate of Mynderse Academy, graduated
from Nazareth in 2005 as a psychology major. She
was a four-time first-team Empire 8 Conference
all-star as a defender and was selected as a first-team
All-American in 2005 by the Intercollegiate Women's
Lacrosse Association.
Spoonhower, of Webster, N.Y. and
a graduate of Webster High School, graduated from
Cornell in 2006 with a degree in Biology and Society.
As a defender, she helped the Big Red to a 12-4
record, a share of the Ivy League championship
and a berth in the NCAA Tournament in 2006.
Nazareth finished with a record
of 14-1 in 2006.
