Economics major. . . born Nov. 23, 1981. . . son of David and Jane Rogers, Canandaigua, N.Y. . . returning for his second season, Rogers played in all 16 games for the Golden Flyers in 2003 and contributed 13 goals and six assists. . . earned Empire 8 Conference honorable mention all-star honors. . . had career-best three goals in a victory at St. John Fisher March 19, 2003. . . had two goals and one assist in double overtime win over Ithaca April 25, 2003. . . at Hobart: transferred to Nazareth from Hobart, where he played two seasons for the Division I Statesmen. . . was named the team's Rookie of the Year in 2001, then contributed four goals and one assist in 2002. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, Rogers was a standout in football and lacrosse. . . named Section Five Class B MVP in lacrosse as well as first-team all-Finger Lakes in 1999 and 2000. . . helped team to sectional and Western New York titles in 2000. . . earned first-team all-Finger Lakes as a defensive end in football, helping team win state championship.
