Psychology major. . . son of David and Patricia Civalier, Rochester, N.Y. . .  team captain. . . returning for his third season, Civalier emerged as the Golden Flyers' starting goalie in 2004 as he started all 19 games and amassed 227 saves for a save percentage of .620 and a goals-against average of 8.30. . .  earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors. . .  named Most Valuable Player of NCAA Championship game after equaling a career-high with 20 saves in a 13-9 loss to Salisbury. . .  only the second player from a losing team to be named the game's MVP. . . also had 20 saves in a 10-8 win at Adelphi and a 7-5 win at Ithaca in the Empire 8 title game. . . scored a goal in Nazareth's 18-4 NCAA Tournament win over Eastern Connecticut State. . .  twice was honored as E8 Goalie of the Week (March 7 and May 2). . .  named as a pre-season All-American (second team) for 2005 by Inside Lacrosse. . . 2003: appeared in five games as a backup goalie and had 14 saves in 59 minutes of action. . .  played 24 minutes in the Golden Flyers' NCAA quarterfinal loss at Middlebury and made nine saves. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Penfield High School, Civalier played three seasons of varsity lacrosse for Coach Mark Rice. . . served as team captain and starting goalie and earned first-team Monroe County League all-star honors in 2002. . . helped team to league and Section Five titles in 2000 . . . earned scholar-athlete honors in 2002. . . also earned all-Monroe County honors as a lineman in football. . .  brother Adam also played for Nazareth, earning All-American honors in 1998. . . younger brother Aaron is a freshman midfielder for the Golden Flyers.
