Accounting major… son of Don and Helene Coon, Webster, N.Y…. team captain. . .  returning for his fourth season, Coon was the Golden Flyers' third leading scorer in 2004, amassing 46 points on 33 goals and 13 assists. . . earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors and honorable mention All-America honors from the USILA . . . had four goals (including three in the fourth quarter) and one assist in 11-9 come-from-behind win over St. Lawrence March 13, 2004. . . scored four times in win over Elmira April 27, 2004. . . scored game-winning goals with 1:25 left in the second overtime of a 17-16 regular-season win over RIT April 17, 2004. . . mentioned as a pre-season All-American for 2005 by Inside Lacrosse. . . 2003: Coon was the Golden Flyers' leading scorer with 51 points on 45 goals and six assists. . . earned honorable mention All-America honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association and was a first-team Empire 8 all-star selection. . . twice earned E8 Player of the Week honors -- for periods ending March 10 and April 21. . . scored career-high seven goals in the Golden Flyers' win at Alfred April 16, 2003. . . had five goals each in wins over Washington College March 8 and Oswego April 22. . . 2002: appeared in four games and scored six goals on seven shots. . . scored four goals against Utica and two versus Elmira. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Webster High School near Rochester, Coon played two seasons of varsity lacrosse for Coach Fritz Kilian… earned first-team Monroe County League all-star honors as the team's leading scorer.
