MULLIN NAMED E8 GOALIE OF THE WEEK

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 30, 2007) -- Pat Mullin, a senior goalie on the Nazareth men's lacrosse team, has been named Empire 8 Conference Goalie of the Week for the seven-day period that ended April 29.

A native of Rochester, N.Y. and a graduate of Irondequoit High School, Mullin helped Nazareth win the Empire 8 Conference Championship over the weekend as he made 16 saves in a 16-14 victory over top-seeded Ithaca on Sunday. He also made 12 saves in Nazareth's 14-8 semifinal victory over RIT.

Mullin has an 8.30 goals-against average and a .601 save percentage in 2007. Nazareth, 15-2 overall, next plays in the NCAA Division III Tournament. First-round match-ups will be revealed Sunday.
