HOTALING NAMED E8 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 30, 2007) -- Ryan Hotaling, a senior attackman on the Nazareth men's lacrosse team, has been named Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week for the seven-day period that ended April 29.

A native of Syracuse and a graduate of Onondaga Central. Hotaling helped Nazareth win the Empire 8 Conference championship by scoring five goals and adding one assist in a 16-14 win over Ithaca in the E8 title game.

Hotaling also had two goals and two assists in Friday's 14-8 semifinal win over RIT.

For the season, Hotaling has 50 points on 31 goals and 19 assists. Nazareth next competes in the NCAA Division III Tournament. First-round matchups will be revealed Sunday.
