Business administration major. . . son of Rick and Barbara Field, Latham, N.Y. . . back for his third season with the Golden Flyers, Field started 10 games as a close defenseman before suffering a broken hand in an overtime win over RIT. . .  had 33 ground balls. . . returned to make an appearance in the NCAA Championship game against Salisbury and recorded an assist. . . 2003: emerged as a starting defenseman and had one assist and 28 ground balls. . . had an assist in Nazareth's victory over Hartwick. . . earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors. . . Before Nazareth: a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, Field transferred to Nazareth last fall after playing the 2001 season at Marymount University in Arlington, Va. . .  Scholastic: played three seasons of varsity lacrosse at CBA and helped team to three straight Capital District League titles. . .  named team's defensive player of the year in 2000 and competed in the high school North-South Senior all-star game. . . a member of the National Honor Society. . . also an all-star in football.
