Business Administration major… son of Richard and Patricia Balash, Auburn, N.Y…. returning for his third season, Balash made a smooth transition to midfield in 2004 and delivered 21 goals and 10 assists. . .  scored a career-best six goals in Nazareth's 18-7 win over RIT in the Empire 8 Conference Tournament. . . added three goals in Nazareth's 10-8 win at Cortland in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. . .  2003: Balash enjoyed a strong season, finishing second on the team in scoring with 43 points on 26 goals and 17 assists. . . earned honorable mention Empire 8 all-star honors. . . had a career-best seven points on five goals and two assists in a 16-15 win at Skidmore. . .  also had six points (three goals, three assists) against St. John Fisher and five points (one goal, four assists) against RIT. . .  Scholastic: a graduate of Auburn High School, Balash played one season of varsity lacrosse for Coach Steve Crosby... helped lead team to Section Three and Regional titles and was Section Three playoff leader in points… also competed in hockey.
