Environmental science major. . . born March 1, 1984. .. . son of Michael and Carol Kanellis, Cortland, N.Y. . . a graduate of Cortland High School, Kanellis played two seasons of gvarsity lacrosse there. . . earned team MVP award and Onondaga League all-star honors in 2002 after leading the team in scoring with 43 goals and 20 assists. . . served as team captain and graduated in top 10 percent of his class.
