ROBINSON
NAMED E8 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
 ROCHESTER,
N.Y. (Oct. 16, 2006) -- Kasey Robinson, a junior
midfielder on the Nazareth field hockey team,
has been named Empire 8 Conference Player of the
Week for the seven-day period that ended Oct.
15, 2006.
Robinson,
of Webster, N.Y. and a graduate of Webster Schroeder
High School, helped the Golden Flyers to a victory
over Washington & Jefferson Sunday in the
first-ever Empire 8 Conference meeting between
the two schools. Robinson scored two goals --
one in each half -- to lead the Golden Flyers
to a 4-1 win. Robinson leads the Golden Flyers
in scoring for 2006 with four goals.
Nazareth
plays its next three games at home, starting with
a Tuesday night game against Brockport at 7 p.m.
The Golden Flyers also host Elmira Saturday at
2 p.m.
