10 RIDER QUALIFY FOR REGIONALS

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 20, 2007) -- Nazareth travels to St. Lawrence Thursday for its final regular-season show for 2007. The Golden Flyers were in fourth place in the team standings for Region 2 through six shows.

Ten Nazareth riders have qualified in 12 classes for the IHSA Regionals to be held at St. Lawrence March 31.

Senior Lisa Arena (pictured) has qualified in open fences and also is tied for second place in the individual standings for the Region 2 Cacchione Cup, a competition for National High Point Hunter Seat Rider.

Other Nazareth qualifiers are junior Jessica Funk in Advanced Walk Trot Canter; junior Timothy Garvin in Walk and Trot; sophomore Jacqueline Gove in Walk and Trot; senior Leah Kuehn in Intermediate Fences and Intermediate Flat; junior Catherine Loomis in Walk and Trot; sophomore Nicki Paris in Advanced Walk Trot Canter; junior Sarah Reynolds in Novice Flat; sophomore Erica Riker in Novice Fences; and junior Colleen Scwab in Novice Fences and Novice Flat.
