LONDON, Ont. (Sept. 23, 2006) -- Nazareth's men's and women's cross country teams were in action Saturday at the Western International meet hosted by Western Ontario University.

Nazareth's women's team placed 11th out of 13 teams competing and the men's team finished eighth of 15 teams.

Junior Jessica Brown (pictured) was Nazareth's top female finisher in 35th place. She covered the 5-kilometer course at Thames Valley Golf Club in 20 minutes, 23 seconds. She was followed by junior Ashley Hughes in 52nd place (20:42).

In the men's 10-kilometer race, junior Aaron Sirtoli was the top finisher in 19th place with a time of 34:51. Juniors Nick Stenuf and Brendan Epstein finished 22nd (34:56) and 34th (35:18) respectively.
