MEN'S, WOMEN'S TEAMS FINISH 14TH AT REGIONAL MEET
RESULTS

LETCHWORTH, N.Y. (Nov. 11, 2006) -- Nazareth's men's and women's cross country teams completed their respective seasons Saturday at the NCAA Divison III Atlantic Regional Championships at Letchworth State Park. Both teams finished in 14th place for their best showings in the program's four-year history.

Nazareth's men's team totaled 412 points to finish in 14th place out of 34 teams. Junior Nick Stenuf was Nazareth's top individual as he finished 29th on the 8,000-meter course in 26:39.5. Junior Aaron Sirtoli was next in 43rd place (26:55.4), followed by junior Brendan Epstein in 54th palce (27:07.8). Junior Michael Anderson placed 120th (28:36.8) and senior Larry DiCesare finished in 166th place (30:12.8).

In the women's meet, Nazareth finished with 406 points to finish in 14th place out of 30 teams. Junior Jessica Brown led the way in 30th place on the 6,000-meter course (23:43.4). Sophomores Lauren Glaser and Abby Crain finished in 80th and 89th place respectively. Freshmen Jenny Lounsbury and Shannon Bradley also competed and finished 100th and 107th respectively.
