| STENUF NAMED RUNNER OF
THE WEEK
 ROCHESTER,
N.Y. (Oct. 9, 2006) -- Nick Stenuf, a junior on
the Nazareth cross country team, has been named
Empire 8 Conference Runner of the Week for the
seven-day period that ended Oct. 8, 2006.
A native of East Syracuse, N.Y.
and a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School,
Stenuf set the pace Saturday at the Nazareth Invitational
as he finished first on the 6-kilometer course
in 20 minutes, 59 seconds.
Stenuf became Nazareth's first-ever
track and field All-American last May as he placed
third in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division
III Championships in Illinois. He also placed
sixth in the same event at the Indoor Championships
in March.
Nazareth competes again Saturday
at the University of Rochester Invitational.
