BOXSCORE | UPDATED STATS

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Jan. 22, 2005) – Ithaca's senior Stephanie Cleary scored a game-high 32 points as the Bombers rolled past the host Golden Flyers with a 66-53 win Saturday in women's basketball. The Bombers remained unbeaten in the Empire 8 Conference with a 5-0 record, and a 9-5 record overall.

Nazareth, with their fourth straight loss, holds an Empire 8 Conference record of 1-3, and a 8-6 record overall.

Nazareth finished the first half with a 23-21 lead before Ithaca staged a second-half rally. Nazareth never regained the lead, but managed to come within four points with 12:53 remaining in the half. The Bombers pulled away late in the second half thanks to the strong offense led by Cleary, who scored 20 over the last 20 minutes. Alex Ivansheck added nine points to seal the win.

Seniors Sara Shipley and Kate Gagliardi both reached double figures. Shipley (pictured) finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Gagliardi added 11 points.

The Flyers hope to improve their record as they host the RIT Tigers Tuesday at 6 p.m.
