McGivern, Latham, N.Y…returning for her fourth season, McGivern
started 19 games in 2003-04 after missing the first five games with
a broken hand. . . averaged 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds
per game and was the team leader in assists (74) and steals (54). . . reached
double digits in scoring six times, including a career-high 20 points
against Brockport Jan. 15, 2004. . . had career highs
in rebounds (10) and assists (9) at Elmira Feb. 6, 2004. . . begins
the season ranked seventh all-time in career steals with 181. . . 2002-03:
appeared in all 25 games, including four as a starter. . . averaged
6.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. . . also
had a team-high 71 steals (2.8 per game). . . reached
double figures in scoring nine times, including five straight games
to finish the season. . . 2001-02:
played in all 25 games, averaged 5.4 points per game and 2.9 rebounds…
also led the team in steals with 56 and was second on the team in
assists with 60…reached double figures in scoring four times...
Scholastic: a graduate of Shaker High School, McGivern
played three seasons of varsity basketball for Coach Ron Beaudoin
and earned team MVP accolades in 2001… also excelled in lacrosse
and soccer. . . earned Suburban Council honorable
mention and team MVP honors in soccer. . . recipient
of scholar-athlete award.
