TERRI
LEONARD
Assistant Coach
A former standout as a player for te Golden Flyers, Terri Leonard
is back for her third season as a part-time assistant coach.
Leonard (formerly Terri Nagle) earned a degree in business administration
in 2001 and enjoyed a successful playing career that included one
NCAA Tournament appearance and three ECAC berths.
A native of Auburn, N.Y., Leonard was recognized as one of the area's
top shooters and ranks among Nazareth's all-time leaders in three-point
field goals made (82) and free-throw accuracy (97-for-128, 75.8
percent).
Among her memorable moments in 2001 was a 20-point effort against
St. John Fisher to lead Nazareth to its first and only championship
of the JPMorgan Chase Scholarship tournament. That performance landed
her a spot on the all-tournament team.
Leonard is working on a Master's degree in education and works as
a substitute teacher at the Norman Howard School.
KERRY
GOTHAM
Assistant Coach
Returning for his third season as a part-time assistant
coach, Kerry Gotham is a Nazareth College fixture as the recently
appointed Director of Alumni Relations.
Gotham has an extensive athletic background that includes two seasons
as a member of the Nazareth men's basketball team, three years as
a representative on the NCAA's national Student Athlete Advisory
Committee, and one season as an assistant women's basketball coach
at RIT.
A native of Colton, N.Y., Gotham graduated from Nazareth in 1998
with a degree in Biology. He has a Master's degree in Higher Education
Administration from Syracuse University. He resides in Rochester
with his wife, Eve.
LIZ
BARBAGLIA
Assistant Coach
Returning for her third season as a part-time assistant coach,
Liz Barbaglia was a four-year standout as a player for the Golden
Flyers.
Barbaglia was team captain for Diane Williams' first season as Nazareth
head coach in 1998-99 and helped the Golden Flyers to a 15-11 record
and a berth in the ECAC Upstate Tournament.
A native of Jordan, N.Y., Barbaglia was the all-time leading scorer
and rebounder at Jordan-Elbridge High School before coming to Nazareth
where she amassed more than 700 points and 500 rebounds in four
seasons and helped the Golden Flyers to NCAA Tournament appearances
in 1996, 1997, and 1998. She graduated with a degree in speech pathology
and teaches in the Rochester City School District.
