for the Golden Flyers in 2003-04, including 10 as a starter. . . was
the Golden Flyers' primary outside shooting weapon as 61 of his
69 field goals were three-pointers. . . averaged
8.6 points per game and shot 39.9 percent (61-for-153) from three-point
range. . . also made 17 of 21 free throws (81 percent). . . reached
doubles figures in scoring 12 times, including a career-high of
24 points in a home-court win over Elmira Jan. 10, 2004. . . equaled
a school record in that game with eight three-pointers and set a
school record for three-point accuracy by going 8-for-8. . . 2002-03:
appeared in 11 games and scored 18 points. . . all
four of his field goals were three-pointers and he went 6-for-6
from the free throw line. . . had 10 points in a
win over Oswego Jan. 7, 2003. . . Scholastic:
a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School near Syracuse, DeBlois
played three seasons of varsity basketball there. . . earned
Section Three Class A-2 all-star honors all three years, including
second-team honors as a junior in 1999-2000. . . named
to New York State Basketball Coaches Association academic all-state
team and was the association's three-point shooting champion. . . also
a standout golfer, DeBlois was a three-time all-league selection
while leading his team to three straight sectional titles. . . recipient
of New York State Lottery Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship. . . Golf:
DeBlois is a regular on the Golden Flyers' golf team and earned
first-team Empire 8 all-star honors this past fall and second-team
honors in 2003.
