Saturday Art for Children and Teens

A painting of a friendly monsterEstablished 20 years ago by Dr. Karen Trickey, Saturday Art for Children and Teens is an enrichment program in the Visual Arts for children in grades PreK-9. Students in grades PreK through 6 will experience both 2-D and 3-D art forms and create work in a variety of media. Students in grades 7-9 create digital art in one of the college's state of the art computer labs. Saturday sessions are taught by advanced art education students and are supervised by Nazareth faculty.

 

Spring 2010 Dates
Saturday Art for Children is scheduled for the following Saturday mornings in Spring 2010:

  • February 6
  • February 13
  • February 27
  • March 6
  • March 13
  • March 27 (Exhibition Day)
  • April 3

Time and Location:
Classes are held in theNazareth College Arts Center building, 2nd floor, on Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

$60.00 (Includes materials)

Registration:
Registration dates will be announced--registrations are not being taken at this time.    Classes are filled according to the order in which registration and payments are received.  There is a limited amount of space available.  If you are not currently on our mailing list and would like to receive a flier, please call the Art Dept.
