The Art Department

Welcome to the Nazareth College Art Department Web Site. Our undergraduate degree programs offer students majors in Studio Art, Art Education and Art History, with concentrations in studio areas. Many students focus their classes on Graphics and Illustration. In addition to these programs, Nazareth also offers a Master of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Art Therapy.

Our Art Education program graduates have pursued careers teaching in school systems locally and around the country. Students who have specialized in graphics and illustration are employed by local and national firms such as Mirus Group, McElveney & Palozzi Design Group, Paychex, Jay Advertising, and Forward Design. Some of our Art History and Studio Art majors who have gone on to earn advanced degrees are teaching at colleges and universities throughout the United States and Europe.
