The 2008 Golden Flyer Challenge was a grand success as honored alums passed along the furry flyers in anticipation of Reunion Weekend 2008! Here are some final statistics from the challenge:

• Collectively, the Golden Flyers traveled 134,301.4 miles.
• They were hosted at 172 stops along the way, and visited with 186 alumni.
• Alums sent more than 100 photos of the Flyers in to the alumni office.
• The Flyer’s spread their wings across 22 states, as far west as California, down to Florida and Texas, and back over to Maine.
• One Flyer even made an international trek to Hong Kong, China.
