Alumni Benefits

When you received your diploma on graduation day, you also received a free lifetime membership into the Nazareth College Alumni Association. As a graduate of Nazareth, you are entitled to these benefits and services.

Arts Center

You can claim a $4 discount on all Arts Center sponsored events for adults and a $1 discount on all Arts Center sponsored events for children. For further information, contact the Arts Center Box Office at (585) 389-2170 or www.naz.edu/dept/artscenter/.

 

Athletic Facilities

Alumni may purchase a Recreation Club membership to the college's fitness centers, racquetball courts, pool, sauna and locker rooms. For an application and information, contact the Director of the Shults Center, Jane Kelly, at (585) 389-2320.

 

Center for Spirituality

Nazareth College has long recognized the importance of spiritual growth in the development of the whole person.  The Nazareth community is committed to fostering an environment in which individuals are encouraged to explore their own spirituality, dialogue with others, and engage the world around them.

Career Services

You may still obtain assistance from the Office of Career Services. This includes participation in NazLink, on-campus recruitment, and large-scale job fairs (i.e., Rochester Area Career Expo, Fall Teaching Job Fair, and Teacher Recruitment Day). Computer Labs

As an alum, you may use the lab in Smyth Hall. A special card is required for entrance to the 24-hour lab only, which the Alumni Relations Office will issue to you upon request. Proper alumni ID (see under Library) is required when using the lab. For more information, call (585) 389-2111 or check the Naz web page at www.naz.edu/dept/computerservices/.

 

Library

You may continue to use the Lorette Wilmot Library and many of its services. The official Nazareth College Alumni ID card is required for proof of alumni status in the library. The ID card can be obtained from the Alumni Office (585-389-2472) or alumni@naz.edu. This card is non-transferable; the alum who has signed the ID card is responsible for all fines and other charges resulting from use of the card.

 

Magazine/Newsletter

The Nazareth College alumni magazine, Connections, is published three times annually and mailed to all graduates. There is no subscription for the magazine and you are encouraged to submit story ideas and information for Class Notes. In addition, you can receive the monthly alumni e-newsletter, NEWS@NAZ, by providing the Alumni Office (alumni@naz.edu) with your preferred e-mail address.

 

Registrar

You may order transcripts as needed from the Registrar's Office. Please note that a processing fee will be charged. To request transcripts, call (585) 389-2800 or visit www.naz.edu/dept/registrar/index.cfm.

 

Invitations to Alumni Events

As a graduate, you are invited to attend all events sponsored by the Alumni Office. Look for invitations in the mail, in Connections magazine, and online at www.naz.edu/dept/alumni/events/index.cfm.

 

Additionally You May...

...Receive scholarship assistance for children and grandchildren. Through the Alumni Association Scholarship, your children or grandchildren may be selected for a financial award. Currently a $2400 scholarship is awarded annually to one incoming first-semester, freshman student. (The recipient receives $600 per year for four years at Nazareth)

 

The Heritage Award

A $3000 a year tuition reduction is available to children and grandchildren of Nazareth Graduates. Eligible students must enroll as first-semester freshmen, qualify for regular admission, and attend full-time. The award is renewable for eight semesters, representing a total tuition remission of $12,000 for eligible students.

Application Fee Waiver

Nazareth College alumni may provide application fee waivers for any student applying to Nazareth and the $40 application fee will be waived.
