How Long at Nazareth: 20 years Responsible for: Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions and Financial Aid Tom's background: Tom is from Jamesville, NY and graduated from Jamesville-DeWitt High School. He received his BS/MS at SUNY Cortland and MS at Syracuse University. Before coming to Nazareth Tom worked for Long Island University, Southampton Campus and CW Post Campus, and he taught Social Studies in the West Genesee school district. Tom on 'Why Nazareth?': "When asked why I like working at Nazareth I say, "‘Where else can you work with artists, scientists, musicians, philosophers, historians, health care professionals, and entrepreneurs all in the same place?" Colleges and universities are exciting places to be because of their diverse people with diverse interests, who strive to improve the lives of others." Tom on life: I am happily married with three college-age children: Trevor, BA '05 Syracuse University; Katie, BA '07 Allegheny College; and Beth, BS '10 Syracuse University. I like to read, run and bike, and travel. My favorite authors are Nelson DeMille and John Grisham, but I also love to read anything related to WW II.
