Merit Scholarships
Merit scholarships are available to students based on an exceptionally strong academic record, substantial extra-curricular involvement, and community service. Size and scope of the applicant pool are also taken into consideration. The amount and terms of the scholarships vary. Need is not a factor. Candidates are selected by the Admissions Committee, and no separate application is required. Grant assistance may also be available to help with the costs of a Nazareth education. Alumni Scholarships
Nazareth College provides The Heritage Award scholarship to children and grandchildren of alumni. The Alumni Association award is given to ONE incoming student whose parent or grandparent is an alumna/us of Nazareth College. Learn more about Alumni Scholarships.
Need-Based Aid
Need-based aid may be available to students who can demonstrate financial need for tuition assistance. Learn more about need-based aid.
Loan Programs

FAFSA
Entering students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FAFSA] to be eligible for all need-based student aid programs. The FAFSA can be filed online or obtained from your high school guidance office or college financial aid office, and must be submitted to the Federal processing center by February 15 each year, but not prior to January 1 of each year.
CSS Profile (Early Decision Only)
Early decision candidates must register for the College Scholarship Service [CSS] Profile. This form should be submitted by November 15. A preliminary financial aid package will be awarded based on CSS Profile information, pending receipt of FAFSA and income documentation. No students (including Early Decision candidates) may file the FAFSA prior to January 1. To register for the CSS Profile, go to www.collegeboard.com.
