Incoming freshmen and transfers are assigned faculty advisors who assist students until the end of the sophomore year, or until they have been accepted into a major program. After declaring a major, students are assigned advisors within their major department. If you don't know who your assigned advisor is, look on "My Profile" on NazNet or contact the Academic Advisement Center to find out.

When should I meet with my advisor?

Students are expected to make appointments for academic counseling with their faculty advisors on a regular basis throughout the year, in addition to course selection times.

How can I change or declare a major?

Students can pick up a Declaration/Change of Major form in the AAC. You must complete the top part, and the Department Chairperson or Program Director will complete the bottom part. Return the form to the Academic Advisement Center.
