Nazareth College Fine and Performing Arts Program for International Students
Five-year undergraduate programs in the Fine and Performing Arts that do not require TOEFL
For eight weeks in the summer and through their first year at Nazareth College, students will undergo intensive English training and cultural immersion. All English classes are taught by licensed TESOL professors through the Nazareth College American Language Institute. Students will be pre-tested upon their arrival in the summer. After their summer courses and during their first year of training, students must pass comprehensive English examinations in order to proceed with their degree programs. (There will be two opportunities to take the exams within the year.)
During the time that they are studying English, students may take some beginning courses in their major program.
If students cannot pass the English proficiency exams by the end of the first year, they will have to leave the US and return to their home country.
VISA: Student will apply for an F-1 visa as students of the American Language Institute at Nazareth College. After passing the English proficiency exam, they will be switched to a Nazareth College Student visa (I-20).
