Office of Veteran Affairs

At Nazareth, an on-campus veteran liaison helps vets with everything from navigating their financial aid packages to talking about the difficulty of going from military service to a classroom. Night classes and flexible day-care accommodate the busy schedules of working vets with families. And counseling centers, rehabilitation and wellness clinics, and an office for students with disabilities all help turn what could be a difficult transition into a rewarding experience. Many veterans mistakenly think their benefits limit their educational choices to community colleges. Veteran's Outreach Center

Nazareth has established a close relationship with the Veteran's Outreach Center, and they welcome your phone calls and emails. The VOC helps veterans of all eras, including World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, those who served during peacetime, and Guard and Reserve military personnel. They stand ready to assist current troops returning to the home front. They believe the healing process for all veterans involves the efforts of family, friends and community to actively participate in the reintegration process. Learn More

We do more than listen: we also can provide valuable information and help you find answers to questions that you may have about Nazareth and beyond. We also have staff available by appointment should that be more convenient for you. Walk-In hours are determined on a semester-by-semester basis, and can be found on the right-hand side of this page.
