Calendar of Events
The CSS provides a central location for posting major campus programs and events. We also provide information and directions to Rochester area events and locations when you are ready to venture off-campus. You can also check out the online version of the campus-wide Nazareth events calendar. Learn More
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation takes place several days before the start of classes. The orientation
begins with a convocation ceremony that celebrates new students and
emphasizes the significance of this new journey. Then, throughout the
next few days, students are acclimated by meeting peers and resource
people, engage in community service activities to foster bonding and to
connect to the greater Rochester community, and attend educational
activities with their orientation groups to acquire information on
student life at Nazareth. After Orientation weekend, student orientation
leaders continue to stay in contact informally with students in their
groups to lend further support through this transitional period. Learn More
Walk-Ins
If you have a problem or just need an ear, come to the CSS. We do more than listen: we also can provide valuable information and help you find answers to questions that you may have about Nazareth and beyond. We also have staff available by appointment should that be more convenient for you. Walk-In hours are determined on a semester-by-semester basis, and can be found on the right-hand side of this page.
