Environmental Science Student Receives Grant

The Department of Biology is proud to announce that Jessica Saville, a Nazareth College Environmental Science major is the recipient of an Undergraduate Student Research Grant from the Rochester Academy of Science.  Jessica's research is titled "Soil type as a factor in the success of phosphorous uptake by plants."  Her sponsor for the project is Dr. William Hallahan, Department of Biology.


The Rochester Academy of Science, Inc. is an organization which has been promoting interest in the natural sciences since 1881, with special focus on the Western New York State region.

Founded in 1924, Nazareth College is located on a close-knit, suburban campus in the dynamic, metropolitan region of Rochester, N.Y.
