Established over 20 years ago by Dr. Karen Trickey, as Saturday Art for Children, the Saturday Art School is an enrichment program in the Visual Arts for children in grades Pre-K to 12. Since Fall 2013, it includes classes for adults as well.

Classes offered in Spring 2015:

Transformation:  a thorough and dramatic change.

Change occurs in all stages and innumerable ways throughout our lives. When enough changes take place in one spot they culminate in transformations—of our bodies, ideas, mindsets, abilities, of the environments with which we interact, in the objects around us. Transformation has the potential to occur in any moment of experience and encounter when our insides come into contact with our outsides.

In this session of Saturday Art, students, with their teachers, will explore various aspects of transformation—in art, art making processes, and in their own experiences.

The classes will be as follow:

Pre-K (Max 18 students, $75, all supplies included.)
K-1st grade (Max 18 students, $75, all supplies included.)
Grade 2 (Max 18 students, $75, all supplies included.)
Grade 3 (Max 18 students, $75, all supplies included.)

Registration:

You can register ONLINE (preferred method), by phone, or by mail.

REGISTRATION ONLINE:
Since online registration is done "live", parents know immediately if their child(ren) is/are in; therefore, it is the preferred method of registration. The link to the payment center is posted at the top of this page.

REGISTRATIONS BY PHONE:
Phoned in registrations will be accepted during the registration period only, between 9:00am and 3:30pm, by calling 389-2532. Payment with either VISA or MASTER CARD is required at that time. Registration requests left on voicemail will not be accepted.

REGISTRATION BY MAIL:

Mail in a completed registration form, along with payment. For payment, either include a check or complete the section for payment by credit card. The envelope must be postmarked by JANUARY 31, 2015. Send to: Nazareth College Art Dept., Saturday Art School, 4245 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14618. Registrations received prior to the registration period will be open and processed manually the first morning of the registration period. Because many people register online in the first hour of the registration period, registrations processed manually are not guaranteed to secure a spot.

Classes are filled according to the order in which registration and payments are received.
There is a limited amount of space available.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
