Shannon Elliott

For over 18 years, Dr. Elliott has been "inspiring [her] students to approach their teaching as another form of their art." In the graduate classroom, she is able to draw on her experiences as a junior high art teacher in New York City and a high school art teacher in the Rochester area, affording students a wealth of "been-there" advice and passion for her work. A scholar and an artist, Dr. Elliott has been a presenter at the National Art Education Association Conventions, and has had her work in solo exhibitions in New York City.
