Registration and Advisement Sessions
Once you’ve returned your enrollment deposit form to Admissions, you will receive a letter from the Academic Advisement Center inviting you to attend one of our advisement and registration sessions. At the session, you will receive information regarding your transfer credit evaluation and core requirements, meet one-on-one with a faculty member from your major department, and register for your courses. This program is designed only for the student.
Transfer Credit Evaluation
You are given a transfer credit evaluation identifying how many hours of transfer credit can be expected and how that transfer credit applies to the Nazareth degree. Please click here for a list of our transfer credit policies. Please note you are required to send official transcripts from all institutions attended. This includes AP, IB, and CLEP exams as well.
Prior to the start of the fall semester, you will be invited to attend an orientation designed to welcome you to the College, make you aware of important resources and activities, and review parking, dining services, NazNet and e-mail access. How do I register for my courses at Nazareth?
Prior to your first semester at Nazareth College, you will register for your courses during the Advisement and Registration Session where you will meet with a faculty advisor from your major department. In future semesters, you will register through NazNet.
What happens during the Advisement and Registration Sessions?
During the Advisement and Registration Session, you will receive information regarding your transfer credit evaluation and Core requirements, meet with a faculty member from your major department, and register for your courses. Please Note: This program is designed for new students only; there is no program planned for guests.
Can I make changes to my schedule after I register for classes?
Yes, you will need to speak with one of the transfer credit evaluators from the Academic Advisement Center in order to make changes to your schedule prior to your first semester at Nazareth.
How do I find out who my academic advisor is?
Your academic advisor will be listed on NazNet by the end of August for fall entry, and early January for spring entry. Please note that the advisor you meet with during the advisement and registration session may or may not be your assigned academic advisor.
