Summer Courses
- There are two summer sessions offered at Nazareth College. The first session usually runs from mid-May until the end of June. The second session runs from late June until early August. See the college calendar for specific dates.
- The summer course listing will be posted on NazNet by mid-February.
- Registering for summer courses at Nazareth is easy. Discuss the courses with your advisor and include them on your Registration /Advising Worksheet.
- You can register for summer courses just as you would for the fall semester by selecting the proper term (0/SA or 0/SB) from the pull down menu. The Registrar's website contains detailed registration information.
- Upon completion, summer courses taken at Nazareth will be posted to transcripts in the usual manner and calculated into the GPA.
Undergraduate Wait Lists
If you need or want to take a course that is closed, you MUST put yourself on the waitlist for the course. Faculty will not sign students into closed courses. If you are on a waitlist and a seat becomes available in the course, you will be notified through your Nazareth e-mail. Be sure to watch your e-mail.
- You must respond within 48 hours or you will be removed from the waitlist and lose the seat to the next person on the list.
- Waitlist are processed on a first-come first served basis. It is important for a you to put yourself on the waitlist for a closed course as soon as possible during the registration period.
- You will be able to see where you fall on a waitlist by going to Manage "My Waitlist" on NazNet.
- You may register for a full course load (15 credits) and be on a waitlist at the same time.
Being on the waitlist does not guarantee that you will get a seat in the course. You should register for another course in case you do not get into the closed course.
